In what at first glance appears to be an attempt to cash in on the success of her Oscar nominated role in “Bridget Jone’s Diary”, Renee Zellweger stars in this romantic comedy with Ewan McGregor. Paying homage to the sixties’ romance movies popularised by Doris Day-Rock Hudson pairings, it remains to be seen if it can emulate even a part of the success of those days.
