New Delhi, June 15: With over Rs 1,500 crore worth of projects in hand, state-owned National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) on Sunday said it was aiming at Rs 625-crore turnover in current fiscal. "We aim at over Rs 625 crore turnover and Rs 10 crore net profit in 2003-04," NBCC chairman and managing director Arup Roy Choudhury said here.

NBCC posted Rs 500-crore turnover and Rs 7 crore net profit in 2002-03.
The company's sales stood at Rs 300 crore in 2000-01 with Rs 2.4 crore net profit. It clocked a Rs 400 crore sales and Rs 3.6 crore net profit in 2001-02.

"The turnover recorded 25 per cent growth during last two fiscal and the net profit doubled since 2000-01," he added.
NBCC has currently over Rs 1,500 crore of work order, Roy Choudhury said and added this quantum of work ensures that the company's hand is full for next two years. Bureau Report
