Paris, May 18: American James Blake and Morocco's Younes El Aynaoui have, as expected, withdrawn from the French Open which starts from next Monday after failing to recover from injury.
Blake is replaced by Israel's Harel Levy and El Aynaoui by Belgium's Christophe Rochus at Roland Garros.
Blake, world No 40, injured his neck in training for the Italian Open in rome earlier this month.
El Aynaoui, No 36, has been plagued by an injury to the arch of his foot all season and has not played since pulling out of the Australian Open in January.
