Indore, Jan 06: In a recent survey, the Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIMI) was ranked as the fifth best business school in the country by aspiring students.
The exercise, conducted by the Indian Market Research bureau for the Economic Times, examined perceptions of recruiters and students alike.
''Constraint of resources cannot be a reason for non-performance,'' IIMI Director Rajan Saxena said.
''From day one, I focussed on teamwork, innovation, transparency, trust and excellence, particularly academic excellence,'' he told UNI.
In 'Vista', the annual festival of IIM Bangalore, an IIMI team won the second prize in 'hard sell', a marketing game. At 'Intaglio' in IIM Calcutta, another team from here won second spot in 'Sicilian Defence', a marketing case analysis competition. Last year, IIMI organised its own festival 'Iris 2002'.
