Court dismisses Azhar`s suit challenging life ban

The order dismissing Azhar's suit was pronounced by the second additional chief judge of the city civil court, Dasaramaiah.
"We are yet to receive a copy of the judgement and cannot comment on the grounds under which the suit has been dismissed," Azhar's lawyer Jagadish told.
The Hyderabad batsman had filed the suit in January 2001 challenging the ban slapped on him by the BCCI for his alleged involvement in match fixing scandal.
Azhar was not available for comments.
