Mumbai, Jan 2: Kishen Kumar, film actor and witness in the case of alleged Bollywood nexus with underworld, was today declared hostile in a special court after he reneged from his earlier police statement.
Kumar, in a statement to police earlier, had said that he had offered Rs 2.5 crore to producer and accused Nasim Rizvi for acquiring the rights of `Chori Chori Chupke Chupke` but the proposal did not materialise and ultimately the choice fell upon Universal Music Company.
The film allegedly made by Pakistan-based gangster Chhota Shakeel and two others.
Kumar had also told police that Rizvi had informed him about his intention to make another film with Preity
Zinta, Sanjay Dutt and Govinda in the lead roles and David Dhavan as a director.
According to transcript of the telephonic talk, Rizvi informed Shakeel that Kishen Kumar had approached him for
music rights of the film. Shakeel advised Rizvi to give him the rights as Kumar was known to them.
