Glasgow, June 08: Scotland produced a spirited performance to come from behind and hold three-times champions Germany to a 1-1 draw on Saturday, leaving their Euro 2004 qualifying Group Five wide open. Germany went ahead in the 23rd minute at Hampden Park when poor marking allowed striker Freddie Bobic to head home a tempting Torsten Frings cross - the only real chance for either side in fiercely contested but scrappy first half. A booking for Frings later means he is suspended from Wednesday's match against the Faroe Islands. Scotland, coached by Germany's Euro 96-winning coach Berti Vogts, continued to work hard and compete for every ball after the break and equalised 20 minutes from time when Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Kenny Miller latched on to a free kick from his Wolves' team mate Colin Cameron to shoot low past Oliver Kahn. Celtic's Rab Douglas kept Scotland in the game with spectacular diving saves from Bernd Schneider in either half. Germany remain top of the group on eight points from four games. Scotland have eight from five and Lithuania, who host Iceland on Wednesday, have seven from five.
