CBI inching closer in Madhumita case

A notice was pasted outside the house of state Welfare Minister
(Independent Charge) Shyam Narain, uncle of prime accused Amarmani
Tripathi, to appear before the agency office here on November 19 at
1000 hrs.
In another notice pasted outside the house of Amarmani Tripathi, the CBI officials had directed his wife Madhumani, Maya (wife of Amarmani's brother), Gyanu and Kishore to appear before the agency office at 1000 hrs on November 16.
The notices signed by CBI's T Raja Balaji said the people were required record their version on vital points that cropped up during the Investigation.
Meanwhile, the CBI is yet to trace Madhumani, who is absconding since alleged killer Prakash Chandra Pandey along with other two accused was arrested on November 06 last.
Earlier today, the CBI arrested up police inspector Yagya Narayan Dixit on charges of destroying evidence and illegal confinement of an IIT student in the case.
