Mumbai, June 05: Strongly condemning the killing of NCP's Chattisgarh unit treasurer Ram Avtar Jaggi, party president Sharad Pawar today sought a CBI probe into the incident. "It is a highly condemnable act and to ensure fairness in the probe, the investigations must be handed over to the CBI,” he told mediapersons here.
Jaggi was killed by unidentified gunmen near Mohdapara police station when he was going home in his car last night.

Pawar said that he has received reports that Chhattisgarh chief minister Ajit Jogi was "pressurising" Jaggi not to carry out NCP's work.
He, however, did not comment on allegations on Jogi's involvement in the crime.
