Railways to pay Rs 4 lakhs to kins of Mulund blast victims
Mumbai, July 10: The special railway tribunal branch has ordered a compensation of Rs four lakh each to relatives of those who died in the Mulund bomb blast, BJP MP Kirit Somaiya said here today.

The tribunal has also directed railway authorities to
make the payment within 10 days, Somaiya said in a statement.
If the payment was delayed for over two months, the railway authorities would be required to pay interest on the amount.
Meanwhile, those injured in the blast have been directed to submit all their medical reports and documents to the tribunal which would take up hearing of the cases on August 25 and 26, he added.
The blast, which occurred in a local train at Mulund railway station on March 13, had left 11 dead and over 65 injured.
