Singapore, May 10: Viagra is increasingly the downfall of unfaithful husbands, whose wives find the little blue pills as proof of their spouses' secret flings, the Sunday Times said.
Lawyers and private investigators told the newspaper they had handled as many as 15 cases involving unfaithful husbands found by their wives to have secretly bought Viagra.
In many cases, the husband usually told the wife he was too tired and stressed to have sex but often stayed out very late, claiming to be with friends or in the workplace, said lawyer Foo Siew Fong. One of her clients found the blue pills in her husband's possession and was immediately suspicious as they do not have sex because he suffers from erectile dysfunction.
"If he's not doing it with her, of course he's doing it with someone else," Foo said. Private investigators said most of the men claimed they were unfaithful because their wives were not adventurous or attractive enough. "One man asked his wife to watch a porn movie. But she still refused to have oral sex or do sexy poses in bed. So he looked for it elsewhere," said Lionel De Souza of LJ Investigations and Consultancy Services.
