Patna, Jan 12: Amid BJP's plan to hold early Lok Sabha poll, the Rabri Devi ministry has effected a major administrative reshuffle transferring around 90 officials, including district magistrates of 12 districts. State government has transferred 17 IAS officials, including the district magistrates, besides 67 sub-divisional officers, two additional district magistrates and four executive magistrates.
A notification to this effect was issued by the state Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department here late last night, official sources said.
The state government posted new DMs in Katihar, Banka, Vaishali, Munger, Araria, Khagaria, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Gopalganj, Madhubani, Kaimur and Sitamarhi districts.
While Sudhir Kumar would be new DM of Katihar, Rashid Ahmed would take charge of Banka, H S Meena of Vaishali, Radheshyam Bihari Singh of Munger, Amrendra Narayan Singh of Araria, Shivnandan Ram of Khagaria and Anand Kishore of Nalanda.
Safina A N, Heera Lal, H R Srinivas, B Rajendra and A Prasad would be new DMs of Sheikhpura, Gopalganj, Madhubani, Kaimur and Sitamarhi respectively.
