Bangalore, Oct 28: Public sector defence major Bharat Electronics Ltd today said it has presented Rs 42.48 crore as 70 per cent dividend to the Union Government for the year 2002-03. The dividend cheque was presented by BEL chairman and managing director Y Gopala Rao to Defence Minister George Fernandes at New Delhi yesterday, a BEL statement said here.

BEL reported a turnover of Rs 2,508 crore last fiscal, it said.
