Kolkata, Sept 02: Giving a new twist to the controversies surrounding Mohun Bagan, the three special officers have submitted a joint report to the Calcutta High Court alleging that they were facing "enormous difficulties" in running the day-to-day soccer affairs of the club. The special officers, who were appointed by the high court in may to conduct the affairs of the football team, detailed in the report the difficulties they were encountering in the discharge of their duties.
The report, submitted to the high court registrar general, would be presented to the court division bench comprising Justice M H S Ansari and Justice Arun Mitra.
Senior advocate Indrajit Sen, one of the special officers, told here that the executive committee was yet to submit last year's statement of accounts to them.
The court, while appointing the officers to stop the relentless factional bickerings in the club, had asked the existing executive committee to work under the guidance of the three-member panel. Bureau Report
