Sydney, Feb 04: Zimbabwean Nick Price, speaking before the Colonial tournament in which Sorenstam failed to make the cut by four strokes, said: "There should be a prerequisite, sure, the sponsors can invite whoever they want, but qualifying is everything. Every single one of us that is out here has had to qualify and I think that there should be maybe some stipulation that says no matter what gender you are, there's a qualification." Despite the growing call for women to be excluded from men's tournaments, Sorenstam said that she received plenty of support from both family and other players. "All the support that I've got from family and friends and other players has been very positive," she said. "I do know that there are some players that disapprove of me being here, but my answer to that is that everybody is entitled to their opinion."
