Durban, June 27: Protesting the American unilateral action on Iraq, former president Nelson Mandela will not meet US President George W Bush when he visits South Africa early next month, according to a media report today.

Mandela is among the world leaders who have harshly criticised Bush's unilateral action against Iraq bypassing the United Nations.
Meanwhile, an organisation calling itself the anti-war group has announced that it was opposed to the US leader making a two-day visit to South Africa on July 8 and 9.
Bush will be visiting South Africa as part of his African tour which will take him to Botswana, Uganda, Nigeria and Senegal.
The anti-war group, which represents more than 300 organisations, said they were opposed to President Thabo Mbeki holding talks with Bush. The organization said it would hold nation-wide protests against the Bush visit.
