Moscow, Nov 12: Russia will provide technical assistance to India's plan to send an unmanned spacecraft to moon in 2005 under a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) signed by space agencies of the two countries here today. "Details of the cooperation in the lunar project will be discussed at experts' meetings of Indian Space Research Organization (Isro) and Russian space agency," a spokesman of Rosaviakosmos company said. "Experts' meetings will pinpoint specific Russian factories which may be awarded contracts in future," the spokesman told a Russian news agency. The MOU signed in the Kremlin between Isro and Russian space agency relates to peaceful use of outer space. India plans to land its astronaut on the moon in the year 2015. Bureau Report
