Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani said the issue was
raised by British leaders during his recent visit to United
Kingdom.
"Seven to eight years have passed since that incident.
They (British) have a problem with their constituency. I said
I will see if I can but we have not taken a decision yet,"
Advani told reporters in an informal chat en route to
Ahmedabad.
Advani said Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had sent a letter to his British counterpart explaining there was a difficulty in releasing bleach as the prosecution feels "the whole case will be finished" if it was done. Bureau Report
