Jaipur, July 07: Heavy rains in north-west Rajastan today affected normal life and vehicular traffic in some places, the meteorological department said here today. As the south-west monsoon set in the desert state, Lalsot recorded a maximum rainfall of 10 cm till this morning followed by moral dam 6(cm), Asind, Banera, Sahara, and Dholpur 3 cm each, Jodhpur, Bassi, Churu 2 cms each, and Devali 1 cm, the weather department said. Jaipur also experienced intermittent rains since last night. The monsoon is expected to spread to other regions in the state over the next 24 hours, it said. Bureau Report
