New Delhi, July 15: The Cable Operators United Front will meet here today to urge the government to take corrective measures in the Conditional Access System (CAS). The front alleges that outside players and pay channels had influenced government's decision to fix free-to-air prices at Rs 72. It has demanded a revision in the prices.

The union also set its own price of a Rs 180. Accusing the government of not keeping its word, the front has demanded adequate representation of the operators in the decision-making process.
The members further called on the government to implement CAS at the earliest, as the delay in implementation was affecting financial position of the operators adversely. Bureau Report
