New York, Sept 25: India and the United States have made significant progress in the negotiations on cooperation in space, nuclear energy and high tech, known as Trinity items, and some "concrete" results are expected soon. Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and US President George W Bush discussed the trinity issue while reviewing the bilateral ties during their meeting here yesterday.
External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha told reporters that both sides expressed satisfaction at the way things were working out.
Negotiations, he said, were now "in the last lap" and soon a delegation from the us would visit India or an Indian delegation would come to the US to have further discussions on them.
"We should be able to see some very concrete results soon," said Sinha.
