Pak troops fire mortar shells in Poonch and Rajouri
Jammu, Sept 26: Pakistani troops fired several mortar shells in forward areas of Rajouri and Poonch districts in Jammu and Kashmir last night, official sources said today.

Pakistani troops from across the Line of Control targeted some forward areas of Noushera sector in Rajouri and fired about 10 mortar bombs, they said, adding Indian troops retaliated to silence the Pakistani guns.
Exchange of mortar shelling between the two sides also took place in Poonch, the sources said. No loss of life or damage to property was reported on the Indian side, the sources added. Small arms firing exchange between the border security force men and the Pakistani Rangers was also reported at some places along the International Border in Jammu district during last 24 hours without any damage on our side, the sources said.
