Lucknow, Jun 02: Police raided the residence of the jailed independent legislator Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya today to nab a man wanted in connection with a case in Sultanpur, but the accused was not found there. Senior superintendent of police Vijay Kumar said here that a police team from Sultanpur raided Raja Bhaiya's residence this morning on information that an accused in a case was hiding there. But the accused was not found there, he said. Raja Bhaiya, who had along with ten other independent MLAs raised a banner of revolt against the Mayawati government, was currently in jail after being charged in a case for threatening a BJP MLA.
