J-K CM distributes appointment letters to 452 teachers
Jammu, Nov 07: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed handed over appointment letters to 452 newly selected teachers in Doda district yesterday, an official spokesman said here today.

With this, so far about 3000 youths have got appointment
letters for the post of teachers in the last three weeks in
the state, he said adding Doda is the first district of Jammu
region where the process for distribution of appointment
letters has started.
Distribution of appointment letters publicly is a measure to demonstrate transparency in selections, which has remained free and fair giving due consideration to merit, he said.
The Chief Minister also distributed scholarships of Rs 6000 each to 19 children who are victims of militancy.
Besides, four widows of civilians killed by militants were granted a pension of Rs 500 per month each under a social welfare scheme.
On the occasion, Mufti also disbursed cheques of first installment of Rs 10,000 each to 73 beneficiaries under Indira Awas Yojana.
