Ayodhya, May 17: Nineteen articles, including green tiles, moulded bricks and human figurine in terracota were found during excavation work in the acquired land today, sources said. The digging work was done in about 15 trenches situated around makeshift structure in acquired land today, they said. The Archaeological Survey of India team has sealed three human skeletons, found in digging here yesterday, and it is likely to be sent for scientific test to ascertain the detailed information, the sources said. Counsel for Central Sunni Waqf Board Jafaryab Jilani, who was present at the excavation here today said proper testing of all the human skeletons found in the digging work, should be done to ascertain its period.
There were 171 labourers, including 43 Muslims in the digging work today. Bureau Report
