AAI retrieves one acre of prime land from encroachers
New Delhi, June 24: In a drive against illegal enchroachment on its land, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has retrieved about one acre of `prime land` illegally occupied by some private persons near Indira Gandhi Airport.

enchroachment on its land, the Airports Authority of India
(AAI) has retrieved about one acre of "prime land" illegally
occupied by some private persons near Indira Gandhi Airport.
With timely and close coordination with various agencies
by the management of IGI Airport, the factory and structures
including shops on the illegaly occupied land were demolished,
an AAI release said here today.
"Once the legal glitches are over, AAI is determined to
remove other such illegal structures on the land acquired by
AAI in the adjoining areas," the release said.
