Lucknow, May 20: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will arrive in his parliamentary constituency today on a two-day visit amidst tight security. Vajpayee will arrive at the Amausi Airport in the evening and would attend a programme at the Sarswati Shishu Mandir, an RSS run school.

He would attend a felicitation function at the Ganna Sansthan Auditorium on Wednesday morning and also inaugurate several developmental projects at Kuria Ghat besides addressing a news conference at Rajbhavan. Vajpayee would flag off the inaugural Air India flight to Jeddah at the Amausi Airport before leaving for New Delhi.

Bomb disposal squads, mounted police and commando teams have been deployed at sensitive places along with civil police and PAC, official sources here said today.

Significantly, the administration had been directed to ensure that the people of the city did not have any inconvenience during the Prime Minister`s visit. Traffic restriction would be minimum, sources said adding there would be no forced closure of shops and other commercial establishment on the Prime Minister`s route.

Moreover, this morning, Prime Minister, was expected to hold meeting at his residence to finalise Cabinet changes. It is thought that the changes could affect Ajit Singh who could lose the Agriculture portfolio and Shiv Sena`s Satish Pradhan is likely to get a ministerial berth.
