Birla Sun Life premium income H1 up 200 pc
Mumbai, Nov 19: Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Ltd (BSLIC) has recorded a 200 per cent rise in new business premium income at Rs 83.5 crore for the first half ended September 30, 2003, over the same period previous fiscal.
Mumbai, Nov 19: Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Ltd (BSLIC) has recorded a 200 per cent rise in new business premium income at Rs 83.5 crore for the first half ended September 30, 2003, over the same period previous fiscal.
The company has sold 37,000 individual life policies in the reporting period, registering an increase of about 80 per cent over the corresponding period last year, BSLIC said in a
release here today.
The sum assured in H1 of the current fiscal stood at Rs 2,500 crore, it added. BSLIC has now expanded its reach to 33 branches in 27 cities.
