Florida, Oct 25: Tiger Woods continued his assault on golf's record books on Friday.
Tiger Woods on Friday matched Byron Nelson's record for making 113 consecutive cuts on the PGA Tour, but it is Vijay Singh who leads after two rounds of the Funai Classic. Woods didn't make any big deal of the achievement after shooting a 5-under-par 67 at Disney World. He was upset with his inability to sink putts in perfect conditions on the Magnolia course. Woods is four strokes behind Singh, his chief challenger in the race to win the tour money title. Singh, playing the easier Palm course, stormed home in 29 strokes on his back nine to shoot 65 and is 15-under 129, one stroke better than Bob Estes, who shot a 63 Friday. Davis Love, third on the money list behind Woods and Singh, also threw himself in the mix with a 65 on Friday and trails Singh by just three shots.
