New Delhi, Oct 01: India has figured in the list of the top ten 'most preferred destinations' in the world drawn up by a leading UK travel magazine. India, which ranked 11 in last year's rankings, moved up two slots to occupy the ninth position in the magazine's annual readers' travel awards this year, a press release issued by the magazine said today. "This unique honour, which is India's highest ranking ever, reinforces its position as one of the most exciting and diverse destinations in the world," it said. In another achievement, the Rajvilas, Jaipur, was ranked number one in the overseas leisure hotels Asia category while the Vanyavilas, Ranthambore, came in at number eleven, the release said.
