McDonald`s sees sales surging in US
Oak Brook (Illinois), Oct 08: McDonald`s Corp today said sales at US restaurants open more than one year, or same-store sales, increased 10 per cent in September on marketing initiatives and menu changes.

Total sales in the united states were up 12.5 per cent
during the month.
The Oak Brook-based fast-food franchiser said its global same-store sales, including the united states, were up 3.7 per cent during the month. Same-store sales fell 0.9 per cent in Europe and 4.2 per cent in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Total sales were up 6 per cent globally, as Europe increased 1.7 per cent and Asia, the Middle East, and Africa fell 3.5 per cent.
For the whole third quarter, Mcdonald's said US same-store sales rose 9.5 per cent. Total sales increased 12.2 per cent.
