New Delhi, May 08: Army chief General N C Vij is on a three-day official visit to Bhutan to discuss the issue of getting the terrorist camps of Ulfa and other northeast insurgent groups vacated from that country. Gen Vij, who reached Thimpu on a three-day official visit, is scheduled to call on the king of Bhutan, prime minister of the country and chief operations officer of the Royal Bhutan Army, official sources said. Before reaching Thimpu, Vij toured the neighbouring Indian states of Sikkim and border areas of north Bengal to take stock of the ongoing anti-insurgency operations in the area, the sources added.
