Moga, Punjab, Dec 10: The Political Affairs Committee (PAC)of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) will meet at Amritsar todayto review the political situation in the state.

of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) will meet at Amritsar today
to review the political situation in the state.
This was announced by SAD supremo and former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal while talking to mediapersons at Sangatpura village in this district.
Badal also criticised the Centre`s move of interlinking of the country`s rivers, saying it would be against the interests of the Punjab farmers.
Badal said that he was not in favour of giving river water to adjoining states, Haryana and Rajasthan, as Punjab had no surplus water.
Sources said that the PAC will also take up the issue of Jagdev Singh Talwandi, chairman of sad disciplinary committee, who shifted his loyalty during the SGPC elections and voted in favour of Tohra candidate.
