Mumbai, Sept 11: Thirty activists of Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad were arrested after they stormed into a meeting of private medical college management representatives here last night. The representatives of unaided medical colleges were discussing the repercussions of the recent Bombay High Court orders directing students to pay only 60 per cent of the proposed fee. There is wide-spread unrest among students seeking admissions to medical courses for the exorbitant annual fee structure ranging from Rs 3.40 lakhs to 3.80 lakhs. The protestors were demanding a reduction in fees and introduction of scholarship grants to deserving students. Bureau Report
