New Delhi, May 05: Courier Services major Blue Dart Express today announced the launch of its sixth aviation hub at Hyderabad even as the company added one more aircraft, Boeing 737, to its fleet, taking total freighters to four. The new aviation hub would be connected to the Blue Dart network by the latest aircraft from May 17, a company release said here, adding that it would provide locations in Andhra Pradesh with faster distribution to and from Blue Dart's network of over 13,700 locations. "South India is the largest region and forms a key market for Blue Dart. Hyderabad, in particular, and Andhra Pradesh, in general, is significant to Blue Dart in the south on account of its growing business importance," Gopa Kumar, vice president - south, Blue Dart Express Ltd said. The new aircrat would add 14 route connections and an additional 60 tonnes per night, increasing its present capacity to 180 tonnes per night, the release said.
