Kopargaon, Apr 19: Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani today said investigating agencies have got definite clues about involvement of four terrorists in gunning down of former Gujarat Minister Haren Pandya, Mulund bomb blast and massacre of Kashmiri Pandits in Nadimarg and they would be nabbed within four days. "We have got vital leads of involvement of four terrorists in last month's massacre of Kashmiri Pandits, Pandya's assassination and Mulund bomb blast and the perpetrators would be nabbed within four days", Advani told a farmers' rally at temple town of Shirdi.

The terrorists, even if they are holed up in Dubai, would be brought to book, Advani told the rally, organised jointly by BJP and Shiv Sena. Advani said the NDA government was capable of checking terrorism to some extent as it has destroyed 161 dens of ISI agents in the country.

Stating that an "undeclared war" was on between India and Pakistan for past two decades, Advani said, "We are ready for talks with the neighbouring nation, although it was still indulging in promotion of terrorists activities".

Advani said, “We will take further steps on the talks if Pakistan first agrees to stop terrorism. Our message is 'banduke chhodo, batchit karo' (give up guns and initiate talks).”

Advani said farmers were the strength of the country and the central government would soon draft an action-plan for their development.

It was unfortunate that farmers in Maharashtra were committing suicides due to burden of loans or other problems, he said.
Advani said that as the country's agriculture is dependant on rain-water, we have already set up a task-force for development of new schemes for farmers and the agriculture minister, food processing minister and finance minister had been nominated on this force.

He said the Central government has introduced credit card scheme for farmers and was formulating steps to face the frequent droughts.
For the past two years, the Centre has been providing major amount to the states for drought, Advani said and alleged that the states were neither utilising the funds nor adding their own funds to it.

“We have also provided financial assistance to Maharashtra for tackling drought-like situation,” Advani said.

Referring to Centre's scheme of linking-rivers, he said during late prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru's tenure, then irrigation Minister K L Rao had presented a river-linking project but it remained pending. Now we have undertaken this ambitious project and presently our attention is on south-north areas, he said adding that if our other project linking roads to connect villages is fulfilled, the country's map will be changed. Vikhe-Patil said a drastic change will be made in the farmer's crop-insurance scheme.
