Ahmedabad, Nov 18: Several members of about 50 families were rushed to hospital after they complained of severe nausea attack following suspected food poisoining in Naroda, hospital sources said here today. "Twenty seven (people), who were admitted following severe complaints of nausea and uneasiness have been discharged today while several others were treated at night and discharged after a few hours later itself," sources told news agencies.

Doctors are still unsure of what caused the "food poisoining" but said on questioning the patients gave different account of what they had consumed.

Doctors feel that poor quality of drinking water in the industrial area of Naroda could also have caused the sickness.
