Jaipur, May 20: The Rajasthan government today started relief work in drought-hit areas of Udaipur, Bhilwara and Raj Samand districts, initially covering 64 villages, official sources said. Under the relief operations, 27,000 labourers would be employed on relief works in Udaipur, 15,000 in Bhilwara and 8,000 in Raj Samand this month, they said.

The labour ceiling would be raised next month after reviewing the situation, they added.
