New Delhi, Mar 03: Brushing aside the charge that it was obstructing the Saarc process, India today accused Pakistan of "short-circuting" the Saarc system by postponing a scheduled meeting of the grouping's communication ministers. India was considering participation in the meeting but "the entire process has been short-circuited by the announcement of postponement", an external affairs ministry spokesman told reporters here. "They did the same in the case of the summit, announcing a postponement a month before the event. It obviously serves their narrow political interest to make these moves and blame India for them," he said rejecting the charge that New Delhi was causing obstructions in the Saarc process. He said "India's commitment to the Saarc process is well known. It is Pakistan's commitment that has always been in doubt."
