Ahmedabad, June 10: Four persons, including three policemen, were injured as mobs belonging to two communities hurled stones at each other in sensitive Ramol-Janata Nagar area of the city which was rocked by widespread communal violence post-Godhra last year, a police official said here on Tuesday. The clash, according to preliminary reports, was triggered after a child from one community was reportedly slapped by a person from the other community, Deputy Commisioner of police (DCP) Siddartha Khatri said. Police fired four rounds in air and lobbed five teargas shells to disperse the mobs, he said adding the situation was immediately brought under control. Bureau Report
