London, Feb 15: Fulham and West Ham will have to meet again to decide who goes into the last eight in the English FA Cup.
Premier league Fulham and first division West Ham United drew 0-0 in the fifth-round of the FA Cup on Saturday (February 14) in London. The goaless draw was a repeat of the 1975 Cup final and West Ham was kept a bay by a brilliant performance from Fulham goalkeeper Edwin Van der Sar. The Dutchman was called into action in the first minute blocking Marlon Harewood's after a good cross from Mathew Etherington.
Fulham relied mostly on the creativity of their French midfielder Steed Malbranque who had a shot saved before crashing a second one against the post after 29 minutes.

Van der Sar showed his agility once again, diving to intercept a header from Brian Deane 10 minutes later to keep Fulham in the match.

England manager Sven Goran Eriksson was completing his observation work ahead of calling up the squad from Wednesday's friendly against Portugal in Faro.

The second half started in the same way as the first, with West Ham attacking but failing to score.

Deane wasted an easy chance, firing well over the crossbar after 47 minutes and Michael Carrick was unlucky to see his header flying just wide of the post in the 77th minute.

With seven minutes to go, Van der Sar made another great brave save from a fierce shot by Michael Carrick to secure Fulham a FA Cup fifth-round replay against First Division London rivals West Ham on Tuesday, February 24 to decide who advance to the quarter-finals.
