Mumbai, July 23: Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd has taken delivery of a 1985 built 95,007 dead weight tonnage (DWT) aframax crude carrier. With the acquisition of "Jag Leena" the company's crude fleet stands at five tankers with an average age of 7.5 years, GE Shipping said in a release here on Tuesday.
Out of the total shipping tonnage of 1.59 mn dwt, tankers constitute 82 per cent. The total shipping tonnage has increased by around 20 per cent since March 31, 2003, it added.
