New Delhi, Oct 10: Barely four months after Ram Jatan Sinha's appointment as pradesh Congress president, senior leaders from Bihar have launched a campaign for his Rea Gandhi in the recent past and urged her to replace Sinha in the larger interest of the organisation in the state ahead of next year's Lok Sabha elections. They claimed that if Sinha continued to head the party in the state, the electoral prospects of congress would suffer.

Interestingly, on the issue of his removal, two factions- one led by assembly speaker Sadanand Singh and another by Sinha's predecessor and Bihar minister Shakeel Ahmed - have joined hands against their common target.
