Istanbul, Jan 15: Brazilian midfielder Amaral is leaving Turkish first division club Besiktas after a five-month spell with the Turkish league leader. "I'm leaving Besiktas because I want to be on a team where I'll be on the roster," the Anatolia news agency quoted Amaral as saying Tuesday.

Kivanc Oktay, a Besiktas club official, said Amaral was free to leave. Amaral joined Besiktas after his previous club, Italy's AC Fiorentina, went bankrupt.
He played in 11 of 17 matches while at Besiktas and started six times. He did not say if he had offers from any other teams. Bureau Report
