Buenos Aires, Oct 17: Boca Juniors beat Rafaela and River Plate win against Colon in Apertura Cup.
Boca Juniors remain unbeaten after their Apertura championship game on Sunday (October 12) but Colon no longer have a clean sheet. Two second-half goals from Matias Donet gave championship leaders Boca Juniors a 2-0 win over Atletico Rafaela on Sunday and kept their unbeaten record intact. Away in Santa Fe, River Plate striker Fernando Cavenaghi got two goals in the first half, which was enough to end sixth-placed Colon's unbeaten record. Gabriel Miglionico scored for the home side. River are 11th, having made a miserable start to the campaign and been hit by injuries to striker Marcelo Salas and defender Marcelo Gallardo.
