Hero Honda`s net grows 25 pc
New Delhi, Apr 12: Hero Honda Motors, India`s largest motorcycle maker, today announced a massive 25 per cent jump in net profits at Rs 728 crore for fiscal 2003-04 and declared a 1000 per cent dividend for shareholders.
New Delhi, Apr 12: Hero Honda Motors, India's largest motorcycle maker, today announced a massive 25 per cent jump in net profits at Rs 728 crore for fiscal 2003-04 and declared a 1000 per cent dividend for shareholders.
Net sales grew 14 per cent to Rs 5832 crore in 2003-04 from Rs 5102 crore in the previous year, managing director Pawan Kant Munjal said at a press conference here.
The company sold 2.07 million motorcycles during the last financial year, a growth of 23 per cent. Net profits were placed at rs 581 crore during 2002-03. Company's market share increased from 43.8 per cent to 47.6 per cent over the period.
