New Delhi, Nov 30: Former Union Minister Dilip Singh Judeo and his private secretary Natwar Rateria have been served notice to appear before the CBI for questioning in the cash-on-camera scam. The two were expected to appear before the agency soon, said CBI sources who also dismissed that deputy Inspector General M A Ganapathy, who was handling the case, had been transferred because of any "pressure."

The report is "totally baseless" and "incorrect" that the DIG had been transferred under "pressure". "Transfers are a routine matter in the CBI and no one should try to derive baseless conclusions out of it," the sources said.

Judeo and Rateria were served the notice last week but they had stated that they were busy with electioneering and would be appearing only after it was over, the sources said.
