Jodhpur, Oct 13: The Rajasthan unit of BJP is meeting here next week to discuss the "complete failure" of the Gehlot government in tackling the drought conditions and providing relief to famine hit people, leader of opposition in Rajasthan Gulab Chand Kataria told reporters here today.

The meeting to be attended by party functionaries and all party MPs and MLAs here on October 17 will be chaired by newly appointed state chief Vasundhara Raje, Union Minister of State for Small Scale Industries, Kataria said. The facts and figures collected by party workers about the real condition of drought in the state will be presented at the meeting and a strategy would be chalked out to force the state government to act responsibly, he said.

Accusing the Gehlot government of playing politics with drought and famine, Kataria charged that the Chief Minister was making false allegations against the Centre just to hide his own government's failures. Bureau Report
