United Nations has added Pakistan-based 'aid organisation of the Ulema' to the list of terrorist organisations.
The member states are expected to immediately freeze the funds and assets of the organistion, which was added to the terrorist list by a UN Security Council committee.
Under the council resolution, member states are expected to prevent entry and transit of officials of organisations as also the individuals included in the list and prevent direct or indirect supply of arms to them.
Nine individuals including Ahmed Idris Nasreddin of Morocco, Abdelkader Mahmoud es Sayed of Egypt, Khalid al-Fawwaz and Abu Hamza al-Masri of Britain, Mohammed Ben Belgacem Aoudai, Mokhtar Bouchoucha, Tarek Charaabi and Sami Ben Khmais Essid of Tunisia and Lased Ben Heni of Libya have also been added to the list.
