Kanpur April 27: BSP president and former Uttar Pradesh minister Mayawati today said that her party would not have any political alliance with the BJP in the future. Addressing an election meeting at historic Phool Bagh Grounds here, Mayawati said that the BJP was trying to involve her falsely in the Taj heritage case and the Union government had been trying to pressurise her.
She said that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had been asked to submit a report against her in the case within four months but it had not done so.
The BSP president said that the Samajwadi Party may join the NDA after the Lok Sabha polls as indicated by the Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and the NDA convenor George Fernandes.
Mayawati said that her party did not enter into an alliance with the Congress as it was following the dual policy of supporting the Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh and wanting to enter into a tie-up with her party.
